August 9 is Book Lovers Day – Lincoln Pelham Public Library

Just one more chapter! Visit any LPPL branch on Tuesday, August 9 to celebrate all things bookish on Book Lovers Day (plus free chocolates!).

While we celebrate books every day, on August 9, we’re adding special activities and giveaways.

Make your mark: All branches will have a station where kids can etch their own designs in a scratch-off bookmark.

Don’t lose your page: Each branch will have a selection of sewn bookmarks made by one of our wonderful volunteers. These are free, however you are welcome to make a donation to support the library. Donations can be made at any branch or online.

Stock your own shelves: Enter for a draw for a $20 gift card generously donated by our fellow book lovers at Thistle Bookshop and Café in Port Dalhousie.

Library haul: Pick up a free LPPL book bag to fill with books on your next library visit.
