Take a colourful walk through downtown Beamsville! Start at the Fleming Branch (5020 Serena Drive) and read How the Crayons Saved the Rainbow by Monica Sweeney in the windows of local businesses. Stop into the library to pick up a free activity kit, treats, and a map (or print your own here) to take along (one per family while supplies last; an adult must be present).
Use the chalk supplied or bring your own to add some colour to the downtown core as you travel from page to page. Plus, discover the secret keyword to receive a free rainbow cookie at Beamsville Bakery (while supplies last)!
Be sure to enter the StoryWalk® to earn an activity badge on Beanstack as part of the TD Summer Reading Club.
The route is approximately 1 kilometre in length and fully accessible. Please remember to cross at the traffic lights and stay on sidewalks. The StoryWalk® will be up until Monday, July 31.
