Enjoy the beautiful fall colours on a guided nature walk with Trail Ambassador Phil from the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority. Experience the wonders of the Sixteen Mile Creek valley and historic rock formations as you wind your way through the Carolinian escarpment forest and visit 2 picturesque waterfalls.

Difficultly: medium with a couple of steeper climbs – this is an escarpment property and the hike will follow sections of the Bruce Trail. Most of the walk is neither difficult or dangerous, however a few sections of the trail will have uneven ground, roots, and can be slippery in wet conditions.  Participants will be encouraged to take their time when there are uneven areas and the guide will ensure that they have time to rest if there are more difficult sections.  If bringing children please be aware that there sections of the trail are close to the escarpment edge and therefore the hike may not be suitable for very small children.

Notes: sturdy shoes necessary, walking sticks also a suggestion.  Please bring your own water and a “pocket snack” along with you to help you stay hydrated while hiking.  Wear extra layers that can be removed as you warm up.

Louth Conservation Area, 3193 Staff Ave, Jordan Station

Please no pets.
