Local Children’s Authors Visit (DROP IN)

August 24 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join us for this interactive author talk and book signing with Robin Whaling and Rhonneke Van Riezen, featuring their book  “A Fluvial What’s It Now?: Adventures of a Fluvial Geomorphologist”. This children’s book features the adventures of Daisy and her Aunt Marina as they explore a local creek and discover how waterways shape the land. Along the way, Daisy learns how scientists study streams to protect habitats and keep communities safe.

Following the reading, little scientists can use sand and water to see erosion in action. Books will be available for purchase.

Free; drop in for kids of all ages
