Extended Hours in Fenwick
Beginning September 8, Maple Acre will be open extended hours:
Monday: 12 – 8 pm
Tuesday: 10 am – 6 pm
Wednesday: 12 – 8 pm
Thursday: 10 am – 6 pm
Friday: 10 am – 5 pm
Saturday: 12 – 4 pm
Holds Pickup Lockers:
Two self-serve holds pickup lockers are available at Maple Acre. The lockers can be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Bookmobile Service
Starting the week of September 8 and running until the end of November, find the Bookmobile at St. Alexander Church (50 Pelham Town Square), across from the Fonthill Branch, on the days and times listed below. The schedule will be reviewed at the end of November for usage, weather, and operational needs.
Monday: 10 am – 2 pm
Friday: 10 am – 2 pm
Saturday: 10 am – 2 pm
The Bookmobile will also be at the Fonthill Bandshell during Summer Chill from 5 – 9 pm on September 3 and September 10.

A Book Lending Machine and drop box for returns is located inside the Meridian Centre (MCC), located at 100 Meridian Way, Fonthill.
The Visiting Library Service (VLS) is a free monthly delivery of library materials. VLS is available for community members who are unable to access library services due to age, disability, or illness.

Reciprocal Borrowing
LPPL cardholders can get a free non-resident library card at St. Catharines Public Library (SCPL) and Niagara Falls Public Library (NFPL) through reciprocal borrowing. To sign up for a non-resident card, please bring your LPPL card and photo ID to a library branch in St. Catharines or Niagara Falls.
Please note that reciprocal borrowing is limited to physical materials. Items borrowed from SCPL and NFPL must be returned to a library branch that is part of each system.

Frequently Asked Questions
Borrowing
Items can be borrowed from all available locations. A library card or photo identification is required. To get a free library card, visit another LPPL branch or the Bookmobile.
Holds
If you usually pick up holds in Fonthill, your holds will automatically switch to Maple Acre. If you’d prefer to pick up your holds at the Bookmobile, the Maple Acre lockers, or another LiNC library, please let staff know and they will update your account.
Returns
The book drop at the Fonthill Branch will be inaccessible starting August 30. Borrowed items can be returned to another LPPL branch, the book drop inside the Meridian Community Centre, and the Bookmobile, as well as any LiNC location.
For customer convenience, most materials will automatically renew up to three times. Please note some restrictions apply.
Services
Public computers, printing, copying, and scanning services will be available at Maple Acre. Chromebooks and WiFi hotspots can also be borrowed for home use.
Faxing is available at the Fleming Branch in Beamsville.
