12 books. 12 months. 12 ideas.
Announcing the 2024 LPPL Reading Challenge!
Next year, resolve to read. This year-long challenge for teens and adults is designed to help readers discover new titles, explore big ideas, and read outside their comfort zone.
How It Works:
Read and log one book from 12 different categories. Read in whatever order you choose, as long as you complete one book for each prompt.
Read in whichever format you prefer: print, eBook, audiobook, or any combination.
Track your books using a paper tracker, available at any LPPL branch and online. (An online form will also be available at the end of 2024.)
Share what you’re reading using the hashtag #LPPLReadingChallenge or by joining the Facebook group. Watch for monthly recommendations on social media too.
Submit your list at the end of 2024 for a chance to win the grand prize.
Here’s the list of monthly prompts:
January: A book with a bird on the cover.
February: A book set mainly in Africa.
March: A memoir.
April: A book with “sun” or “star” in the title.
May: A book adapted as a TV show or movie.
