Hiking enthusiasts Chris Parr and Sharon Tkacz will speak about their book Escarpment Trails and Treks, which features 24 hikes in the Hamilton, Halton, and Niagara area, plus hiking advice for all seasons.

About the Book:

Escarpment Trails and Treks provides the visiting, new, and experienced hiker easily navigated two-hour hikes in Halton, Hamilton, and the Niagara Region in Southern Ontario. These regions are blessed with a plethora of waterfalls, cliffs, land features, and trails that feature historic ruins, wildlife, caves, and panoramic views of the Niagara Escarpment and Lake Ontario.

Whether visiting from another city, province, or country, this book gives a sampling of why these natural environments are so special. Each hike provides information about the area, including historical and geographic features. Concise instructions and maps are offered in an easy-to-read format.

Books will be available to purchase for $28 (cash, credit, or debit).
