Explaining the Ukrainian Holodomor Famine-Genocide

November 24 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Free

Is history repeating itself? The truth about the Holodomor famine-genocide of 1932-33, where over 24,500 died daily, was hidden behind a wall of silence. Attempts to diminish the scale and conceal the horrors of this genocide are still felt today. Natalie Diduch, Co-Chair of the Holodomor Descendants’ Network, will be speaking and answering questions about this time, plus making a book donation to the library.
