Life gets busy. Between work, school, and family, it’s easy to forget when library materials are due or that a book needs to be renewed.
For customer convenience, the library will now be applying automatic renewals to traditional materials, including books, audiobooks, magazines, DVDs, and Blu-rays.
Starting April 1, items will automatically renew one day before the due date. Items will not renew if an item is on hold for another person or if the maximum number of renewals (three) has been reached.
If you receive email notices, an automated email will be sent with an updated due date (if applicable). You can also contact your local branch or log in to your online account to find out when items are due.
The following items are not eligible for autorenewals:
Interlibrary Loans (ILLOs)
Book Club Sets
Express Books (14-day loan)
All non-traditional items in the Library of Things collection
Please note items owned by partner libraries within the Libraries in Niagara Cooperative (LiNC) system may be subject to different loan periods and fines.
