Terry Fallis is a two-time Stephen Leacock Medal–winning Canadian author of ten national bestselling novels, with an eleventh scheduled for release in November 2026. His most recent work, The Marionette (2025), continued his streak of instant bestsellers. His debut novel, The Best Laid Plans (2008), won the Leacock Medal and the 2011 CBC Canada Reads competition, later becoming a CBC TV miniseries and a stage musical. Several of his subsequent novels—The High Road (2010), Up and Down (2012), No Relation (2014), Poles Apart (2015), One Brother Shy (2017), Albatross (2019), Operation Angus (2021)—were bestsellers, award finalists, or award winners, further cementing his reputation in Canadian humour and fiction.
