New year, new look at Lincoln Public Library

Our core purpose has always been to give the community space — whether physical or virtual — to learn, discover, experience and explore.

Learn with your library card; cards are free for everyone. Stop by a branch in Beamsville or Vineland or sign up on our website. To ensure access, we have our revamped Visiting Library Service. This free service brings library materials to people who can’t come to the library due to age, illness or disability. For details, please call us or email Kelly Spence: spence@lincoln.library.on.ca.

Discover new ideas and opportunities. Borrow books from across Niagara through our catalogue. Access ebooks, audiobooks and music on Libby or hoopla. Try Lynda.com to sharpen tech, design and computer skills. If you need help getting started, just let us know. Click here to learn more about our E-Library services.

Experience hands-on learning in the new makerspace in Beamsville. The growing list of equipment includes a 3D printer, die-cutting machine, Chromebooks and a sewing machine. Complete an orientation, then create away. Please note there may be a small cost for materials, depending on your project.

Explore the past and connect to the present. Research your family with home access to Ancestry Library. Click here to learn more about Local History. Celebrate our growing community with a collection that reflects the many faces and places we come from. You can also explore ways to support your library. The new Friends of Lincoln Public Library, a group of volunteers who help fundraise for the library, is seeking members. For more information, please email Julie Andrews: andrews@lincoln.library.on.ca.

Watch for inventive outdoor programs. Connect through our virtual workshops and story times. Expect a fresh new website.

As shown in our new logo, there are exciting things to come at Lincoln Public Library!
